(The Museum of Memory and Human Rights)

It is a space designed to give visibility to the human rights violations committed by the State of Chile between 1973 and 1990; To dignify the victims and their families; And to stimulate reflection and debate on the importance of respect and tolerance, so that these events will never be repeated. Through objects, documents and archives in different supports and formats, and an innovative visual and sound proposal, it is possible to know part of this history: the coup d’état, repression of later years, resistance, exile, solidarity International, repair policies. This makes the Museum of Memory and Human Rights a dynamic and interactive space that rescues the recent history of Chile and is reunited with the truth, which grows and is projected in the promotion of a culture of respect for the dignity of the people.
